Studio osem production in H.O.M.E. project

H.O.M.E. in Porto

WE WOULD LIKE TO THANK THE PEOPLE OF BOLHÃO FOR THEIR WARMTH AND HOSPITALITY!

The action on BOLHÃO market is part of the H.O.M.E. project, supported by European commission. Workshops and seminars were organized by Kud Ljud and LOMOMANIA.

Have you seen these
people?

They are part of a world that is dissapearing. Not in some distant lands or exotic rainforests but in the heart of Porto.

The Bolhão market is dying. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow but in a couple of years it will most likely be just a memory.

A group of artist from England, Portugal, Slovenia, Belgium and Macedonia came to live in Porto for one week as part of the H.O.M.E. project supported by the European Commission.

Together with local workshop participants and the people of the market they are talking, eating and creating together to explore the different perspectives of the Bolhão Market.

Their works will be presented this Saturday morning (20. 3. 2010) in the form of an "open-air gallery" in the market itself.

The really interesting stuff however will not be on the walls of the open air gallery but among the stalls and the shops of the Bolhão market. The colors, the smells, the sounds and of course the people who have... Bolhão in the Heart.
